How do I get to Kyiv while the airports are closed?

Most international visitors fly into Poland and take a Ukrzaliznytsia train via Przemyśl or Chełm to Kyiv Central Railway Station. Add your train number when booking and the car will be waiting at the station. Another option is to travel to Lviv, pick up a car there and return it in Kyiv with our One Way service.

Can I drive a rental car to Poland?

Yes. You can drive to EU countries and back with the paid Travel Abroad service; the Green Card insurance is paid separately, and we can arrange it for you. The car must be returned in Ukraine — it cannot be left abroad. Please agree your trip with a manager in advance.

How much does it cost to rent a car in Kyiv?

The price depends on the car class and rental length: the longer the rental, the lower the daily rate. For example, an MG ZS or Suzuki Vitara costs €37 per day for 1–3 days and €25 per day from 26 days. A Toyota Camry starts at €45 and a 9-seat Hyundai Staria at €65 per day. What do I need to rent a car?

• Minimum age 21 and at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Foreign visitors: national passport plus an International Driving Permit or a national driving licence with your name in Latin letters.
• Ukrainian citizens: passport, driving licence and tax ID number (IPN).

What is the deposit and what does Full Protection include?

The deposit starts at €400, depending on the car class. It is blocked on your card in hryvnias at the exchange rate on the day of pick-up and released after return. With Full Protection there is no car deposit — only a refundable €100 guarantee deposit is blocked (€1,000 for premium cars). It covers traffic fines and other charges under the rental agreement. If there are no violations, the deposit is released in full on the day you return the car.

Is there a mileage limit?

300 km per day, counted over the whole rental period, up to 4,500 km per month. If you are planning long trips, add the Unlimited Mileage service.
