You can get to the zoological park "12 months" from Kyiv by public transport or your own car. From the metro station "Heroiv Dnepra" daily, from 6:00 to 23:56, with an interval of 11-12 minutes, suburban bus No. 355 runs.

- go to the intersection of the Big Ring Road with the regional highway Kyiv - Ovruch (P02) and then along this highway, which within the city is combined with Litovsky Prospekt, through Novie and Stari Petrovtsy, Lyutezh and Demidov. At the exit from Demidov, after the roadside market and public transport stop, you need to turn left onto Verbovaya Street. Less than 2 km later, on the left, you will see a fence, and then a beautiful 3-story building with a large inscription "XII months" and a parking lot in front of it;
- the second route runs from the intersection of the Big Ring Road of Kyiv with Bogatyrska Street and then along the P69 highway with an exit to the Kyiv - Ovruch highway (P02 highway) and along it to Demidov through the same settlements as in the first route.

The creators of the "XII months" zoo were guided by the idea of creating an ideal home for animals, the living conditions in which would be as close as possible to their usual habitat. At the same time, the new zoo became the first and so far the only one in Ukraine open to visitors all year round. Construction on the site in Demidov began in 2013, and already in 2015 the zoo received its first visitors.
