Car rental - this is a very popular service that is used not only by those who come to Ukraine, but also by many local residents. A rented car can be used to travel around the country with the whole family or a small company; it can be rented on the occasion of a wedding celebration, to meet guests or if your own transport breaks down. Car rental is not only a convenient service, but also affordable, but only if the renter knows how to properly operate the rented vehicle and strictly follows the rules prescribed by the car rental company.
Narscars does not advise its customers to upgrade and repair the car on their own, while recommending not using it for purposes not previously agreed. And also comply with the deadlines and return the car in its original form. We will consider each of these rules in more detail, starting with why you do not need to upgrade your rented vehicle.
Do not upgrade the car without the permission of the lessor
The lessee has the right to change the state of the rented vehicle, but only with the consent of the lessor. Retrofit can be separable or inseparable. If the renter added a detachable part without the permission of the car rental, then he has the full right to withdraw it, but he cannot demand a refund.
If the upgrade is inseparable from the car, the renter will not be able to claim compensation for the improvements made. At the same time, the car rental has every right to go to court for compensation for damage, which, in its opinion, was caused to the rented car through the fault of the client's unauthorized actions.
Do not repair the car yourself
The car rentals have signed contracts with certain service stations. In case of self-repair, the client may violate the terms of the warranty service or damage the vehicle. In any of these situations, he will have to pay a fine for the damage caused to the company.
Do not use the car for purposes for which it was not intended
A rented car may only be used for domestic non-production purposes. The car rental company does not allow the use of their vehicles for the following tasks:
- rent a car;
- ride it abroad or to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine;
- tow other vehicles;
- take part in races and / or competitions and perform other actions prohibited by the agreement signed with the lessor.
Observe lease terms
The car rental agreement stipulates that if it is not returned on the specified date, the lessee must reimburse the rental company for the losses and additional costs associated with this violation.
Return the car as you took it
Before signing the rental agreement, thoroughly inspect the car in the presence of a rental representative. Document all found faults, paint damage, cracks, dents, chips and other defects. This will prevent any disagreements about the condition of the car at the end of the rental period. For the repair of all defects that appeared after the signing of the agreement, you will have to pay out of pocket.
The vehicle is served to the client clean and with a fully filled tank; it must be returned after the end of the lease also washed and filled. If you return a dirty car without a sufficient supply of fuel, the client will be charged an additional fee for washing and refueling, not at the market price, but at the rates of the rental company.
